Privacy & GDPR notice

This notice explains how ABC Trading Group (“we”, “us”) collects and processes personal data when you use this website, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We are committed to data minimization: we collect only what we need for the purposes described in this notice.
1. Data controller

2. What we collect and why
When you submit the contact form, we process the information you provide:
- Your name — so we can address our reply.
- Your email address — so we can respond to your inquiry.
- Platform and project brief — so we can understand and scope your request.
- How you found us (optional) — so we can understand which channels reach traders like you.
We do not ask for, and the form cannot upload, files or attachments. Please do not include special-category (sensitive) personal data in your message.
3. Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the consent box before sending the form. Where we go on to correspond about a potential engagement, we also rely on the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time (see your rights below); withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Form processing & third parties
The contact form is delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms, a form-to-email service acting as our processor. The data you submit is transmitted to Web3Forms solely to deliver your message to us. Web3Forms is operated by a provider based in India, so your message may be processed outside the EU/EEA. This transfer happens at your request in the course of contacting us (Article 49(1)(b) GDPR) and is limited to delivering your message to our inbox. We recommend reviewing the Web3Forms privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy. We do not sell or share your data with any other party, and we do not use it for marketing.
5. Mailing list for free tools
If you subscribe on our free indicator pages, we process your name and email address to send you the download link and occasional emails about free tools and updates. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the consent box and confirmed by double opt-in — we only add you to the list after you click the confirmation link in the first email.
The list is operated on our behalf by AWeber (AWeber Systems, Inc.), acting as our processor. Because AWeber is based in the United States, your data is transferred outside the EU/EEA; this transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses under a data processing agreement. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email, which also withdraws your consent; we keep your subscription data only until you unsubscribe. We never sell or share your details, and the subscription form loads no third-party scripts or cookies onto this site.
6. Cookies & tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or
third-party tracking. Your light/dark theme choice is stored locally in
your browser (localStorage) purely to remember your preference; it is
never transmitted to us or anyone else, so no cookie-consent banner is required.
7. Fonts & hosting
We use your device’s built-in system fonts, so no font files are requested from third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) and no IP address is shared for that purpose.
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, acting as our processor. To deliver the pages securely and reliably, IONOS automatically processes technical connection data in server log files — such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and your browser’s identification string. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of this website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use log data for any other purpose or combine it with other data. 8. Retention
Inquiry correspondence is kept by default in case you return to your project idea later. Where an engagement results, we retain the correspondence, project documentation and delivered code for the duration of the client relationship and beyond, so that returning clients can ask us to re-supply lost files or update and extend earlier work — many clients come back years later, and this long-term service is only possible if we keep the project record (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Independent of this, German commercial and tax law (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO) requires us to keep business correspondence for six years and accounting-relevant documents for ten. You can request erasure at any time (see your rights below); we will then delete everything not subject to a statutory retention duty.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request rectification of inaccurate data;
- request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”);
- request restriction of, or object to, processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — our lead authority is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HmbBfDI), or you can contact the authority in your country of residence.
